The Black house is located on a corner site on the escarpment edge of Thirroul 

This new residence in Thirroul exploits the sites context through views, undulating topography, and gorgeous deciduous trees which change the feel of the site depending on the season. 

It has been designed to feel like an understated black box on the outside while light, white and contrasting vibrant interior.

The client wanted the views and trees to do the talking and the house be less conspicuous in its setting.
