The Envelope Beach House is a single house located directly on the Culburra beach front. 

This Large renovation captures the amazing Ocean views propped just above the sand dune. Its 180 degree ocean views where a key driver for both client and architect. 

The clients brief was to retain its original beach house feel and scale while creating a opened up feel with flow, light, ventilation and modern finish.

The name ‘The Envelope’ derives from the envelope like façade which projects out toward the beach and neighbours creating both privacy and shade. The facades lines also drags your eye towards the ocean view and back deck at all times. It’s a house that solves so many issues and points to what’s important.
